Ironing straps are suitable as an alternative to loop tape if the loop width exceeds the hook dimensions. They are particularly suitable for use on trusses or in series production, where loop tapes are subject to increased wear. Since the band carries with the entire width, they wear ironing straps particularly gentle on the tape in lacing.
