We ensure our quality in accordance with the European standard EN 1492-2 and through regular tests in our own test laboratory. The permissible carrying capacity of the round sling can be recognized immediately by means of the color code according to the Euro norm.

- Visually check the round sling for faultlessness before each use.
- Only load the round sling with the maximum working load stated on the label. If the label is no longer legible, you must no longer use the round sling.
- You are not allowed to tie knots in round slings.
- Make sure that no blows get into the round sling when it is loaded.
- If the object to be lifted has sharp edges, you must use protective tubes for the round sling.
- Make sure that the round sling must not be exposed to excessive chafing.
- The round sling must lie in the crane hook in such a way that the sling carries over the entire width of the crane hook, is not deformed or narrowed and is not damaged by sharp edges.
- Avoid jerky movements when using the round sling.
- Round slings can be used at temperatures between -40 ° C and + 100 ° C, provided no chemicals and / or acids are used.
- Chemicals can damage the round sling. If your round sling comes into contact with chemicals or acids, you must separate them out and replace them.

Round slings - aids for attaching loads
Round slings are textile lifting gear. They consist of a load-bearing polyester core and a protective outer coat. They are subject to the specifications of the European standard DIN EN 1492-2. Round slings should be checked before each use and annually by a competent person.

SHZ round slings are manufactured in accordance with the EN 1492-2 standard. During all production steps – from cutting the hose to inserting the thread into the hose to sewing – we rely on the most modern production facilities. All products go through an intensive quality assurance process before they leave the factory in Großröhrsdorf. We test all products regularly in our own test laboratory according to our SHZ test guidelines. These clearly exceed the prescribed level according to the applicable EN standards. Our certified quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001 also ensures consistent product quality.
