You need action in your daily work and like to lend a hand yourself? Do you find modern technology and computer-controlled systems exciting? Then the practical training as a machine and system operator (MAF) is just the thing for you. If you successfully complete your two-year training as a MAF with good results, SHZ offers you the chance to develop further. You can add a third training year and graduate as an industrial mechanic.

- Setting up and operating production machines and systems
- Selection of materials and resources according to specifications
- Monitoring and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Troubleshooting
- Checking and monitoring process flows

- Step 1: Training as an industrial mechanic (3. year of training)
- Step 2: Industrial foreman (m/f/o) or state-certified technician (m/f/o)
