With our high-strength chain sling assemblies in grades 8 and 10, we aim to provide you with the best possible support when lifting or moving heavy loads. For this purpose, we offer a wide range of high-quality and customised products.
SHZ chain sling assemblies are available in various designs, from 1- to 4-leg versions, in different lengths, with various end fittings and optionally with shortening hooks. Our chain sling assemblies are assembled in Germany – in our in-house assembly workshop.
Our chains are painted black, and all components used bear the legally required H-stamp, with the exception of grade 10 chains. In addition, our chain sling assemblies are marked in accordance with the regulations, making recurring inspections easier to trace.
We are also happy to support you with this and carry out the legally required chain inspections for you.

Buy chain slings—as a standard product or fully customized
If you would like to purchase chain sling assemblies, you will find a wide selection in our range. And if the right product is not yet available, we can certainly manufacture it for you in our in-house chain assembly workshop. Our team will be happy to advise you.
Installation of lashing chains and lifting equipment
In our in-house assembly facility, we manufacture lifting chains, lifting tools, lashing chains, and chain slings in various designs: 1-strand chain slings, 2-strand chain slings, 3-strand chain slings, and even 4-strand chain slings. Upon request, we can also modify the various systems—and tailor them precisely to your specific application. Please feel free to contact us.
Chain inspections in accordance with UVV 18.4 (VBG 9a)
We are happy to support you with the inspection, maintenance and repair of your chain sling assemblies. Round steel chains used as lifting equipment must undergo an annual visual and functional inspection by a qualified person. In addition, electromagnetic crack testing is legally required every three years.
Our qualified inspectors carry out chain inspections in accordance with the accident prevention regulations UVV 18.4 (VBG 9a) and know exactly what matters. Please feel free to contact us. We inspect your chains at SHZ—or on-site at your company.
Chain Components and Practical Accessories
Of course, we also offer individual chain components and matching accessories for the various SHZ chain slings. These include high-strength shackles, suspension rings and assemblies, textile couplers, connecting hooks with clevises, as well as lifting points and various edge protection elements. We’re also your reliable partner when it comes to inspecting, maintaining, and repairing chain slings—and have been for over 20 years, now in our second generation.
